Singers from different villages from different districts, e.g. Pune, Nagar, Parbhani, Satara, Beed, Jalna, Solapur, Sangli, have given almost identical songs about daughter going to her in-laws’ house. In these songs from this section, father accepts that daughter has to go, but mother is worried about how her daughter will face sasurvas*. In one of these songs, three different attitudes of the members of the family are mentioned: father says daughter is wise, mother is worried about daughter’s future, brother thinks she is very small, how will she face everything.
