Notes =>When god Malhārī brought Bāṇāī with him, the first wife Rukhmini was naturally angry. Viṭṭhal is wooing her. Banu is the familiar name of Bāṇāī.

Notes =>The fort of Jejuri at the top of which is the temple of god Malhārī or Khaṅḍobā is believed to have a flight of one lakh steps. Sometimes it is believed that there are nine lakh stones for the steps.
