पावा- बांबुपासून निर्मिती. बांबूच्या पानांनी लपेटलेला असून तो लोकरीतीप्रमाणे वाजवला जातो. शार्भ्डदेवांच्या मते पाविका बांबूची असून ती १२ अंगुळे लांबीची करावी. तिची जाडी अंगठ्याएवढी असून मध्ये आपल्या करंगळीच्या टोकाएवढे भोक ती धारण करते. लोकांनुसार हिचे एक फुंकण्याचे भोक असते व पाच भोके स्वरसिध्दीसाठी असतात.
Mahuri (Mavhari, Mavari) - A brief description) -An instrument which is called Mahuri, about which Somdev has given an explanation in his book. It is created from wood and is twenty-eight Anguli (the measure of a finger’s breadth) long.

Pava (Flute) - (A brief description) - It is made from bamboo, wrapped with bamboo leaves. It is played according to the popular tradition. According to Shabhrddev its length should be twelve Anguli (the measure of a finger’s breadth) long and its thickness as big as the thumb. It has a hole for blowing and five holes for playing the notes.
