Notes =>As a part of the haladi* ceremony, oil is sent from from the bride’s party to the bridegroom’s party. It is then applied to the bridegroom by a Parit woman or any other woman as is the custom may be in the particular family, with mango leaves on his feet, body and head once and from head to feet thrice.
