rāma ga mhaṇalyānī rāma mājhā gurubhāū
sōnyācyā saḷīnī tāndaḷālā dētē ghāū
While saying: “Ram!”, Ram - my guru-bhau
I am pounding rice with a golden pestle
▷  Ram * (म्हणल्यानी) Ram my (गुरुभाऊ)
“master-brother”, a man considered by a woman as a brother with a connotation of confidant, protector, adviser. This friendship may exist with a man from a different caste without objection. The woman becomes a guru-bahin, master-sister.
