गजानन महाराज शेगाव यांचे पंढरपुरात मोठे मंदीर बांधले आहे. त्याठिकाणी या भेटल्या.
या मंदीरात एका मुकादमाला नेमले होते. त्याच्याकडे काम होते की गजानन महाराजांच्या भक्त असणार्या बायांना सेवा करायला लावून स्वैपाक करून घ्यायचा. इथे जमलेल्या स्त्रियांना जात्यावरली गाणी पुष्कळ येत होती. ती आम्हाला सांगण्याची जबर इच्छा होती. पण तो माणूस सांगू देत नव्हता. त्याने या स्त्रियांवर फार मोठा दबाव आणला.
आम्ही पंढरपुरला २६.६.२००१ ते २९.६.२००१ या तीन दिवस गेलो होतो. आषाढी एकादशी एक जुलैला होती. त्यानिमित्त पंढरपूरला यात्रा जमली होती. यांची गाणी व मुलाखत २८ तारखेला घेतली.
